The Otedola Bridge catastrophe: Frsc says fire burnt 9 Lives beyond recognition

The Lagos commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission FRSC, Hyginus Omeje, says nine persons were burnt beyong recognition in the petrol tanker explosion that occured at Otedola bridge in Lagos this evening.
He said 54 vehicles were also burnt in the inferno and that efforts to remove the damaged vehicles to open up the road is still ongoing.

Former President talks about chibok girls

Former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo has said some of the over 200 Chibok school girls kidnapped in Borno state may never come back home for some reasons Obasanjo made this statement, yesterday Ocotber 5 while speaking at the Hausa service of the British Broadcasting Corporation. He said: “I believe that some of them will never return. We will still be hearing about them many years from now, some will give birth to children of the Boko Haram members, but if they cannot take care of them in the forest, they may release them.” Obasanjo said.
