Afcon 2015: Ten players have arrived ahead of the qualifier match against sudan

Ten players have arrived the Super Eagles Bolton White Apartment camp in Abuja ahead of this weekend's AFCON qualifiers against Sudan Nigeria national team camp is beginning to bubble ahead of preparations for this weekend’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Sudanese senior national team. According to a report from the Eagles camp, ten players have arrived for the make or break fixture in Khartoum. The foreign based professional in camp are Hull City’s Omatsone Aluko, new boy Hope Akpan of Reading FC , Babatunde Michael, Aaron Samuel and Nosa Igiebor. Top the list of the home based players are Gbolahan Salami of Warri Wolves, Azubuike Egwuekwe, Emem Edward , Chigozie Agbim and leading Nigerian league scorer, Ighodalo Osagunna. More players are expected to team up with Stephen Keshi’s men before Monday night.

Former President talks about chibok girls

Former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo has said some of the over 200 Chibok school girls kidnapped in Borno state may never come back home for some reasons Obasanjo made this statement, yesterday Ocotber 5 while speaking at the Hausa service of the British Broadcasting Corporation. He said: “I believe that some of them will never return. We will still be hearing about them many years from now, some will give birth to children of the Boko Haram members, but if they cannot take care of them in the forest, they may release them.” Obasanjo said. Another Us$5.7 million seized in south africa

This story is just so suspicious, is it not just three weeks after South African authorities seized a private jet in Johannesburg which transported $9.3million in cash packed in several suitcases for arms purchase, they have yet again confiscated another US$5.7 million arms deal money from Nigeria, South Africa-based City Express reports. According to the report, the $5.7 million (about N952 million), alleged to be proceeds of illegal transactions, was seized by the South Africa’s Asset Forfeiture Unit of the National Prosecuting Authority. The transaction was said to be between Cerberus Risk Solutions, an arms broker in Cape Town, and Societe D’Equipments Internationaux, a Nigerian company based in Abuja. However, the deal fell apart after Cerberus which had earlier received R60 million (N1.02 billion) from Nigeria in its account at Standard Bank, tried to repay the money as it could not resolve its registration formalities with the South African authorities.
