Ten players have arrived the Super Eagles Bolton White Apartment camp in Abuja ahead of this weekend's AFCON qualifiers against Sudan Nigeria national team camp is beginning to bubble ahead of preparations for this weekend’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Sudanese senior national team. According to a report from the Eagles camp, ten players have arrived for the make or break fixture in Khartoum. The foreign based professional in camp are Hull City’s Omatsone Aluko, new boy Hope Akpan of Reading FC , Babatunde Michael, Aaron Samuel and Nosa Igiebor. This story is just so suspicious, is it not just three weeks after South African authorities seized a private jet in Johannesburg which transported $9.3million in cash packed in several suitcases for arms purchase, they have yet again confiscated another US$5.7 million arms deal money from Nigeria, South Africa-based City Express reports. According to the report, the $5.7 million (about N952 million), alleged to be proceeds of illegal transactions, was seized by the South Africa’s Asset Forfeiture Unit of the National Prosecuting Authority. The transaction was said to be between Cerberus Risk Solutions, an arms broker in Cape Town, and Societe D’Equipments Internationaux, a Nigerian company based in Abuja. The Nigeria Military authorities have retired the former General Officer Commanding the 7 Division of the Nigerian Army, Maiduguri, Maj. Gen. Abubakar Mohammed, who was attacked by soldiers at their barracks in Maiduguri on May 14th. The soldiers have since been sentenced to death for that action by a military court. According to Punch , Mohammed was retired after he was recalled to the Headquarters of the Nigerian Army without posting for months after the soldiers’ attempt on his life. It was gathered from a top military source in Abuja that the Army authorities quietly retired him last month. The source said, “The Maj.
