The Otedola Bridge catastrophe: Frsc says fire burnt 9 Lives beyond recognition

The Lagos commander of the Federal Road Safety Commission FRSC, Hyginus Omeje, says nine persons were burnt beyong recognition in the petrol tanker explosion that occured at Otedola bridge in Lagos this evening.
He said 54 vehicles were also burnt in the inferno and that efforts to remove the damaged vehicles to open up the road is still ongoing.

The winner of Miss Turkey 2017 was on Friday stripped of her crown hours after winning the competition over a controversial tweet. Itir Esen,18, won the competition in Istanbul on Thursday night and was meant to represent the country in the Miss World competition in China. Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has been selected as one of TIME magazine’s 2015 100 Most Influential People in the World. Her selection was based on her unique position as a literary success and an influential cultural voice.
